Älplibahn Malans

At the edge of the lovely beech forest you will find the Älplibahn cable car waiting to take you on an enjoyable ride up into the heights.

A local tip for young and old alike: on one side for walkers, because it takes them up into a beautiful hiking area, and on the other side for those who like to take it easier who simply enjoy the lovely views and the friendly and charming restaurant at the mountain station. Popular mountain summits, such as the Vilan or the Falknis, can be conquered in a day trip from the mountain station.
