Vättnerberg Cable Car

With the Vättnerberg cable car you can easily reach the Maiensäss (summer mountain pastures) with its old Walser settlement on a lovely sunny plateau at 1,600m above sea level. The remarkable variety of mountain flora never fails to surprise all visitors.

You can reach the Vättnerberg cable car valley station by car from Bad Ragaz, direction Pfäfers, then Vättis, in about 30 minutes, or by bus from Bad Ragaz Railway Station, direction Vättis. Please tell the bus driver that you want to get off the bus at the signpost to the cable car.
